Embrace Life by Living Healthy

A change of living healthy and consuming the right foods that are nutritious and beneficial for your optimum health is one of the most important decisions you can make in your life. By doing so you will feel better about yourself, have more energy and become more alert and focused to whatever it is you do.

Yes, eating healthy is a life time commitment that takes concerted effort. But the reward in doing so is priceless. Each one of us has the discipline; we just have to reach out for it. The majority of us are successful in whatever it is that we do in life. Our career for instance, how did we get there? By our discipline and effort, by staying focused. So, if you can do this, I truly believe it in my heart that you can make that first step and invite yourself to a new way of eating, exercising and living a healthy life style.

Our career is important to us, we work hard for it right? But our health is by far the most important. Being healthy gives us the opportunity to stay focused and alert to whatever it is that we want to accomplish. But most of all, it provides us the energy to spend more quality and memorable time with our loves ones.

If we don’t take this step, then we are just inviting ourselves to a life that may cause problems and prevent us from doing what we want to do. The problems that I am referring to are Obesity, High Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Diabetes, Stroke, Heart Disease and other forms of cancers. This is not a myth, this is a fact. We know people that have it, family, friends and even us. For instance, I come from a family that has had to deal with cancer. My father is a cancer survivor, my aunt is a breast cancer survivor.

These are some of the reasons why I and my family choose to live healthy. I feel very proud of us doing so. I want people to enjoy their life as long as it can last with your special love ones to share it with. I do realize that this lifestyle may be easy or difficult for others due to cultural differences or the willingness of an individual to change. Living healthy shouldn’t be difficult as long as we keep in mind all the benefits that it will provide us in the long run. So be positive and optimistic, these emotions will get you there. The following phrases are from the book “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne.

“Every negative thought, feeling, or emotion is blocking your good from coming to you”.

“When people are completely focused on what’s wrong and their symptoms, they will perpetuate it. The healing will not occur until they shift their attention from being sick to being well. Because that’s the law of attraction”.

“Happier thoughts lead to essentially a happier biochemistry. A happier, healthier body. Negative thoughts and stress have been shown to seriously degrade the body functioning of the brain, because it’s our thoughts and emotions that are continuously reassembling, reorganizing, re-creating our body”.
